how to care for pewter
Each item is hand made with the intention to look organic, and not two items are ever exactly alike. Pewter will never tarnish. However the color will change when any pewter based items are in contact with any form of alcohol, (i.e. perfume, purelle, lotion, etc). Therefore, do not allow alcohol to come in contact with any Selen Design items. Unlike silver, pewter never needs to be cleaned or polished. If you wish, you may use a cloth, but nothing else.
